Very poor quality While being a good price these hooks are very poor quality. They are not smooth and the yarn does not side easily. The set has so many tiny sizes that you will never use and the 2 large ones that I really wanted both have rough edges on one end. You cannot sand or smooth them so this set is trash. Very disappointed.
love to croknit MY new croknit hooks are wonderful. Easy to hold and flexable. I don't know how I have managed so long without them. They are worth every penny I paid for them including the shipping and handling. THEY ARE GREAT.
Great crochet hooks Great crochethooks with on both sides the same size of hook.Very handy for several sorts of crocheting for example tunesian crochet and hairpin lace.
double ended hooks These needles are easy to work with smooth. They seem to start out a little rough but as the work progresses get smoother. However the smaller ones are a little warped. It could be the heat where I live not sure. Overall the needles are just fine.
hooks a plenty
Disappointed I have a couple issues with these hooks they warp especially the smaller sizes the hook end has trouble holding the yarn just not a deep enough hook. The real large sizes are sort of ok. I only use these to do my stitch gauge then I purchase a good hook in the right size to make my actual garmet. Depending on what you want to make the Susan Bates work fine. My last project I used Denise Interchangeable Crochet Hooks Cords Tunisian Kit. The price is $40.00 but well work the extra $20. You can purchase extra hooks for the Denise if you need to make it double ended with different size cords you have any size hook you could ever need. I just wish the actual hook end was a little longer. I just ordered a tunisian hook hook on one end only made by ChiaoGoo with a long flexible cord can't wait to try that one. There is a video on YouTube that shows you how to use a double ended hook they use the Clover 6 inch hook to made things in the round.
Very good hooks I received this set as a gift last year and love it. I've made many items from cup cozies to sweaters to lap blankets and have never had any problems with any of the hooks. As a previous reviewer noted the very smallest hooks are delicate and do require a light hand. That hasn't been an issue for me but it did cost the company 1 star. The only thing I'm not happy with is they don't seem to work well with Red Heart Super Saver yarn. However I think that has more to do with the yarn than the hooks. In my personal experience Red Heart Super Saver works best on metal or plastic hooks/needles. Other better quality acrylic yarns have worked very well.If you are going to use Red Heart Super Saver rub the hook down with a piece of wax paper. It makes the hook go through the yarn easier. Red Heart is so cheap and available just about every where so I do like it for that. I'm more likely to get Red Heart super soft Caron or Lion Brand. They just work better with these hooks. Any wool cotton or bamboo blends also works very well and Alpaca is heavenly to work with on these hooks. Something about natural fibers I guess.
Lovely for the Price I'm quite satisfied with this item and use them a lot well I use the bigger ones Size H and above. They are light and quickly become smooth with use.At first I wished that shorter ones were available. But then I realized that if they were shorter I would have to cork one end to keep the stitches from falling off. Now I'm happy with the 14 length. The surface of these seems less sealed than that of my Unitts and I do notice them warping slightly in heat and humidity. I expect that this might become a problem in the smaller sizes but it's not in the ones I use. Plus the smaller sizes probably are fragile.Overall these are great for the price.

satisfied these hooks are great they are just long enough but not too long. i rated a 4 star because the thinner hooks are a bit flimsy. but other than that the yarn slides easily.
